Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive new hire bootcamp program during the initial 90 days to strengthen software development expertise.
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
• Design, implement, and rigorously test applications and software systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams on the strategic planning and maintenance of essential Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Quality Assurance (Q/A) environments.
• Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the design process, facilitating the creation of a highly testable platform, applications, and data models.
• Incorporate quality, performance, and reliability considerations from the outset of the development process.
• Assume ownership of tasks and responsibilities, diligently managing them throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Investigate, identify, and resolve defects within existing systems.
• Assist in defining non-functional requirements and develop and test systems to ensure they meet specified criteria.
• Produce clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Perform comprehensive software analysis, programming, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Actively participate as a member of a distributed Agile team, contributing to its overall success and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for programming and a strong commitment to software quality.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with distributed teams.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Some practical experience with Java or .NET-based applications, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), and Webservices.
• Exposure to development practices utilizing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservice architecture.
• A strong willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• 0-3 years of previous experience in software development and testing using C# or Java.
