Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive new hire bootcamp program during the initial 90 days to strengthen software development expertise.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
- Design, implement, and rigorously test applications and software systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams on the strategic planning and maintenance of essential Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Quality Assurance (Q/A) environments.
- Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the design process, facilitating the creation of a highly testable platform, applications, and data models.
- Incorporate quality, performance, and reliability considerations from the outset of the development process.
- Assume ownership of tasks and responsibilities, diligently managing them throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Investigate, identify, and resolve defects within existing systems.
- Assist in defining non-functional requirements and develop and test systems to ensure they meet specified criteria.
- Produce clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Perform comprehensive software analysis, programming, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
- Actively participate as a member of a distributed Agile team, contributing to its overall success and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
