What you will do
Collaborate with various teams (Version Manager, Development, Testing, Customer) to ensure seamless software delivery, from compilation to runtime, across both simple and complex environments, aiming for precise configuration and zero downtime for all utilities.
Manage the setup of different SCM (Software Configuration Management) environments and build mechanisms within Amdocs and external environments.
Provide comprehensive guidance on compiling, packaging, and using SCM tools to development teams throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
Enhance the build process by implementing the latest tools and improving existing utilities.
Identify build errors (both simple and complex) and deliver immediate and long-term solutions.
Design, configure, install, and upgrade environments (e.g., standalone, coordinated, clustered) throughout the product lifecycle (Development, Testing, UAT, Production) for both internal and external users.
Configure third-party software (Java, WebLogic, Maven) in various supported environments and builds, working closely with development and architecture teams.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject area
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Automation
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux Server platform
- Proven experience in different stages of Software Creation Process as Integration Engineer
