Job Description

is a Flipkart initiative launched in 2018 to empower women in technology. Its goal is to promote women's tech talent and provide opportunities to collaborate with leading technology professionals in India. This upskilling program actively works towards creating a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem. Recognizing the underrepresentation of women in the Indian tech landscape, Flipkart strives to bridge the skills gap and prepare women for successful careers in the industry. The program specifically targets women-only engineering colleges across India, providing training and support to help participants secure tech roles not only at Flipkart but also at other top companies nationwide. Over the years, GWC has successfully trained numerous young women, placing them in prominent tech positions.

Responsibilities

• 6.0 is exclusively open to students from a select group of participating all-women's institutes. Eligibility is limited to female students in their 3rd and 4th year of B.Tech/B.E. programs and 1st and 2nd year of M.Tech/M.E. programs. Students from any engineering specialization are welcome to participate. Individual registration is required through the Unstop platform. It is strictly prohibited to plagiarize during the online coding challenge; any instances of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

Education Qualification

• 6.0 is open to all female engineering students enrolled in a full-time B.Tech./ B.E. (3rd and 4th year) or M.Tech./ M.E. (all years) program. Applicants must be studying at one of the selected all-women's colleges participating in the program across India.

Skills

• Following registration on the Unstop platform, participants in 6.0 will complete an online coding challenge assessing fundamental coding skills. This challenge will determine which students advance to the next stage of the program. The coding round will be online, lasting 90 minutes, and must be completed using a desktop or laptop computer.
