Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our expanding technology team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to collaborate with seasoned engineers to support, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and comprehensive observability systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with senior team members in the deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud-native applications.
• Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
• Support the maintenance of system uptime, reliability, and performance through the utilization of observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/EFK stack.
• Develop automation scripts and actively participate in routine maintenance tasks.
• Support containerization and orchestration processes using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in on-call rotations under supervision, following comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or students in their final year of study who are eligible for full-time employment).
• Demonstrated experience through internships, projects, or academic coursework with DevOps/SRE tools, including:
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and similar platforms.
• Cloud Platforms: Basic knowledge or certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure is considered advantageous.
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, and comparable tools.
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/EFK Stack.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and fundamental networking principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• A strong passion for automation, problem-solving, and a commitment to learning modern DevOps methodologies.
