Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist to contribute significantly to the improvement of our human data training initiatives for various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) projects. This role requires meticulous labeling, categorization, and annotation of diverse data types, including text, images, audio, and video. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, precision, and consistency in their work, adhering strictly to established project guidelines and contributing to the development of high-quality training data sets which are crucial for the success of our AI/ML models.

Responsibilities

• Accurately annotate and label diverse datasets, encompassing text, images, audio, and video content, strictly adhering to all project-specific guidelines and instructions provided.
• Conduct thorough reviews and validation of annotations to ensure the highest quality and accuracy, identifying and rectifying any inconsistencies or errors.
• Proactively identify and report any ambiguous scenarios or edge cases encountered during the annotation process, offering constructive feedback to improve annotation guidelines and processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain consistent and accurate data labeling throughout all projects, contributing to a shared understanding of best practices.
• Consistently meet deadlines for assigned annotation tasks while upholding the highest standards of quality and accuracy, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Education Qualification

• Demonstrated prior experience in data annotation or a closely related field is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in this area.
• Prior exposure to projects involving AI, ML, or data science principles is highly beneficial, showcasing a general understanding of the field. This could include academic projects, personal projects, or professional experience.

Skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering focus on accuracy are paramount for success in this role. The ability to consistently produce high-quality work is crucial.
• Proven ability to meticulously follow complex instructions and guidelines, ensuring complete comprehension and adherence to all specifications.
• Basic working knowledge of various data annotation tools, such as Labelbox, Prodigy, or other similar platforms, is required. Experience with a specific tool is a plus, but training on new tools will be provided as needed.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling effective communication of annotation decisions and justifications, as well as the ability to clearly articulate any challenges encountered.
