Job Description
This internship program offers a comprehensive learning experience, including:
* Project Assignments: Interns will be assigned a specific project to focus on throughout the summer, culminating in a final presentation during the last week of the internship. Dedicated guidance and support will be provided by managers and mentors to facilitate learning and skill development.
* Learning Sessions: Mandatory learning sessions will be conducted weekly, providing insights into Pearson, its Technology organization, and the acquisition of various professional skills.
* In-Person Activities: Opportunities will be available for interns to participate in office networking events and other Pearson India activities.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Pearson’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform.
- Participate in ongoing IAM projects under the supervision of the research team.
- Review and implement new features based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, data, and technical details.
- Conduct literature reviews to remain current on the latest advancements and trends in IAM.
- Summarize and communicate relevant research findings to the team.
- Work collaboratively with the team to design and implement solutions related to Identity and Access Management tools.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to analyze and document process flows.
- Engage in business analysis, process improvement, and solution development.
- Acquire knowledge in requirements gathering, testing methodologies, and deployment processes.
- Document and deliver automation solutions, enhancements, and new capabilities.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Recent graduates (freshers) are not eligible for this internship.
- A fundamental understanding of cloud platforms and database concepts is required.
- Experience in coding using SQL, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages is desirable.
- Experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and clear presentation of research findings.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive innovative research projects, exhibiting a self-motivated and proactive approach.
