Job Description

As a Software Developer, you will play a vital role in contributing to our dynamic software development team, ensuring the timely and successful release of products, and providing essential support for engineering initiatives. You will implement and refine standard methodologies to optimize workflows and contribute to a design-centric culture that values innovation and welcomes diverse perspectives. By harnessing the collective expertise of our talented team, you will develop ambitious and sophisticated solutions that address our clients’ challenges in meaningful and impactful ways.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the development of innovative, industry-relevant solutions leveraging technologies such as Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Python, and Django.
• Supporting the development of intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces using React/JavaScript.
• Collaborating closely with senior team members to design and architect robust technical solutions for large-scale customer implementations.
• Contributing to the creation of scalable products capable of handling substantial data volumes and diverse customer requirements.
• Working under the guidance of experienced developers to implement pragmatic object-oriented design principles and write clean, maintainable code that delivers long-term cost benefits and facilitates rigorous testing.
• Actively participating in team collaborations to ensure adherence to product quality standards, requirements specifications, and project timelines. Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, release and version control, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Assisting in the refactoring of existing codebase to improve performance and maintainability.
• Participating in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) activities to streamline the software release process.

Qualifications

• A foundational understanding of developing and deploying websites, applications, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Familiarity with ML, AI, and Django/Python frameworks.
• A basic working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as AngularJS, React, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Fundamental database experience, including proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL (queries, design, and administration). Understanding of REST API design and development principles.
• Fluency in English (upper-intermediate or advanced proficiency).
