Responsibilities

  • Provide initial technical support for healthcare applications, addressing user-reported issues via phone and email. This includes diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
  • Meticulously log and track all support requests within our ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of every issue.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries to thoroughly analyze system logs, database tables, and other relevant data sources.
  • Leverage SQL skills to pinpoint trends, identify anomalies, and uncover the root causes of technical problems.
  • Optimize SQL queries to maximize performance and efficiency, ensuring rapid issue resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all support activities and resolutions within the ticketing system, improving internal processes and providing valuable references for future support needs.
  • Expand the knowledge base with new solutions, helpful tips, and best practices for efficient problem resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Practice Management (PM), Electronic Health Records (EHR), Patient Portal, HL7 Interfaces, APIs, and Mobile teams, to address interdependent issues and ensure comprehensive support.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing challenges, brainstorm process improvements, and stay abreast of the latest product updates.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of professionalism and courteous interaction with both direct clients and end-users.
  • Prioritize delivering exceptional customer service and support to consistently enhance user satisfaction.
  • Strictly adhere to all organizational policies, including data protection and security standards, such as PHI and HIPAA compliance.

Education Qualification

  • Academic Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computing or Information Technology is mandatory.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Skills

  • Preferred Skills: Prior experience in US Healthcare and/or technical support environments is highly valued.
  • Essential Technical Skills: Strong foundational technical skills are required, including proficiency in operating systems, databases, and networking principles.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving and troubleshooting methodologies is essential.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are critical for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a significant advantage.
