Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the experienced backend development team to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using the Go programming language. Actively participate in code reviews, offering valuable insights and contributing to the establishment and adherence to best practices for efficient Golang development. Write well-documented, optimized, and easily maintainable code that conforms to established software development standards and principles. Proactively identify, debug, and resolve issues within existing applications, contributing to continuous improvement and enhanced functionality. Actively participate in design and architecture discussions, proposing innovative solutions to improve system performance, scalability, and overall efficiency. Contribute to the ongoing evolution and improvement of Zocket's backend infrastructure.
Education Qualification
- Currently enrolled in or having recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
Skills
- Commitment to a six-month internship program.
- A strong foundational understanding of the Go programming language, complemented by experience with other backend technologies such as Node.js and PHP.
- Demonstrated proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and a working knowledge of various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
- A solid grasp of fundamental data structures and algorithms, and their practical application in software development.
- Proven ability to write efficient, scalable, and high-performance code that meets stringent quality standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
