Responsibilities
- You take performance, scalability, and fault tolerance into account when designing, developing, and implementing products and modules.
- You investigate and put new technology into use in Zeotap.
- You occasionally deal with customer complaints and escalations.
- You assist in creating an innovative solution for our clients and act as a consultant to internal stakeholders.
- You can work with a variety of technologies, such as event processing, web applications, big data, and business logic.
- You can utilize and adjust to new technologies.
- You assume full responsibility for the module or feature.
- You follow Zeotap's privacy, information security, and business policies and procedures.
- You promptly finish all of the awareness training that has been assigned.
Education Qualifications
- 0–1 years of expertise developing and implementing large-scale systems
- It is preferred to have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar discipline.
Skills
- Proficient coding abilities in Java, Scala, and Go
- Both advanced and basic design abilities
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of DS and algorithms are required.
- strong familiarity with OLTP databases and caching technologies' data access patterns
- thorough knowledge of all noSQL databases
- fundamental understanding of distributed systems and their architecture
- Experience with Apache Spark or another big data stack is really beneficial.
- Working directly with queuing systems such as RMQ, Kafka, etc.
- familiarity with RESTful web application frameworks
