Job Description

The fitness and wellness industry— encompassing yoga studios, gyms, boot camps, and various boutique studios—plays a vital role in promoting healthier and happier lives. However, the technology currently supporting these businesses is outdated and inadequate. Existing software solutions are often cumbersome, user-unfriendly, prone to frequent outages, and provide poor customer support. Kenko aims to revolutionize this sector by providing a superior technological foundation for fitness and wellness businesses, addressing the critical shortcomings of current offerings and creating a seamless and efficient experience for both businesses and their clients. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to this transformative effort.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Kenko's platform features, functionality, and capabilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality website solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. This involves thorough familiarization with all aspects of the system to effectively contribute to website development and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with clients throughout the website development lifecycle. This includes actively gathering requirements, ensuring clear communication, and working to deliver projects on time and within budget, while consistently exceeding client expectations regarding functionality, design, and user experience.
• Take full ownership of assigned website development projects, managing tasks effectively, adhering to established deadlines, and consistently delivering exceptional results that meet or exceed quality standards and client specifications. Proactive issue identification and resolution are critical to success in this role.
• Create and meticulously maintain comprehensive documentation, encompassing user manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. This documentation will serve both external customers and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding and efficient problem-solving.
• Proactively identify and propose improvements to internal workflows and processes based on client feedback, industry best practices, and analysis of emerging trends and product updates. The goal is to continuously enhance the customer experience and ensure Kenko maintains a position at the forefront of the industry.
• Continuously expand your knowledge and skills by staying abreast of the latest advancements in website development best practices, tools, and technologies. This includes actively seeking opportunities to automate processes and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency and scalability.

Education Qualification

• All applicants are welcome to apply for this internship. Prior experience is not mandatory, however, a demonstrable interest in website development and a willingness to learn are essential.

Skills

• 0–6 months of internship experience in website design or development (though not required). Prior experience with website development, particularly using platforms such as Duda, is a significant advantage.
• Proven technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and effectively utilize new tools, products, and technologies are critical.
• A foundational understanding of SEO principles and responsive design best practices is beneficial. A willingness to learn and expand upon existing knowledge in this area is essential.
• The ability to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills are vital.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow structured processes and workflows. This ensures consistency in quality and adherence to best practices.
• Creative problem-solving skills are crucial for adapting existing processes and developing innovative solutions to enhance website functionality and user experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively understanding client needs, clearly articulating project updates, and collaborating effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach are crucial for success in this role.
• Willingness and availability to work within the US time zone are required due to the nature of client collaborations and communication needs.
