Responsibilities
- This Trainee role involves a comprehensive understanding of software testing requirements and the design of effective test cases. Responsibilities include: authoring detailed test plans based on thorough business requirements analysis and translating those requirements into testable specifications; implementing Wipro's testing methodologies, particularly Model-based testing, to optimize test generation; ensuring thorough peer review of test cases to minimize rework; collaborating closely with the development team to identify and document test cases and maintain version control; defining the criteria, parameters, and scope of testing, actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT); automating the test lifecycle through the use of VB macros, scheduling tools, and GUI automation; designing and executing automation frameworks and generating comprehensive reports; developing and automating tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, designing test plans, creating test cases/scenarios/use cases, and executing these tests; adhering to project/program/account norms when reporting defects, providing clear descriptions and replication steps for each; identifying and documenting bugs, preparing detailed defect reports, and consistently reporting test progress; maintaining a perfect record of on-time delivery, meeting all Wipro and client SLAs and norms; designing and delivering timely test status dashboards at the conclusion of each testing cycle to stakeholders; providing valuable feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risks, and reporting findings to the relevant stakeholders.
