Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor alert systems, APM tools, server health, database backups, web applications, and CPU/Memory utilization of microservices to identify potential issues.
  • Thoroughly investigate and analyze logs using various log management and diagnostic tools to effectively resolve or escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage incoming issues and tickets received through email, service desk platforms, and JIRA, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assume ownership of unresolved issues, escalations, and root cause analysis (RCA) processes, driving them to resolution.
  • Adhere to established procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, mitigating potential service level agreement (SLA) breaches based on issue severity.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal engineering teams, business units, and the customer care team to provide updates on issue status and resolution progress.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors as required for issue resolution and support.
  • Identify recurring issue patterns and propose process improvements to enhance system stability and efficiency.
  • Configure and maintain alert systems, and develop comprehensive runbooks for troubleshooting and incident response.
