Cognizant is conducting an off-campus recruitment drive for Analyst Trainee positions, targeting candidates who have completed a three-year full-time degree program in 2023 or 2024.

Job Description

Selected candidates will be aligned to one of the following areas based on their qualifications: Multicloud, Digital Workplace Services, Integrated Smart Operations, or IT practice.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend the relationships between database tables and formulate queries to retrieve relevant data.
• Execute CRUD operations and develop stored procedures based on provided Low-Level Designs.
• Develop test cases, scripts, and data, then execute both manual and automated tests.
• Analyze root causes of issues and remediate service tickets following standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools.
• Exhibit a strong drive for innovation and experimentation in project-related activities.
• Perform activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs/Runbooks, with an understanding of business impact.
• Adhere to customer security and compliance requirements.
• Follow customer communication protocols.
• Meet stated productivity requirements for the engagement.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Serve as a buddy for new hires.
• Adhere to organizational policies and processes (including Cognizant’s security policies, LP, timelines, etc.).
• Provide first-line technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing IT-related problems and queries.
• Record and track all support tickets, guaranteeing precise documentation and prompt problem resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to reduce downtime.
• Work with other IT teams to escalate more complex problems and assure timely resolution.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to improve self-service options and improve efficient problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Graduates from 2023 or 2024 with a three-year full-time degree (BCA, BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics, or related fields) are eligible to apply.
• A consistent academic record with a minimum of 60% is required in X, XII, Diploma, and UG (rounding off 59.9% is not permitted).
• At the time of joining, candidates must maintain a minimum aggregate of 60% in their current degree with no outstanding arrears.
• Candidates awaiting re-evaluation results will be assessed based on their initially declared scores.
• CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered according to university guidelines.
• Candidates with any existing arrears are not eligible.
• Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location, during any shift, and with any technology is mandatory.
• Open to Indian nationals/OCIs currently residing in India.
