This role necessitates direct interaction with clients and focuses on the acquisition of corporate salary accounts within a defined geographical area. The incumbent will be responsible for effectively communicating and promoting banking products to prospective clients, serving as a crucial liaison between clients and the bank, and ensuring the provision of exceptional customer service. Furthermore, the Associate Manager will support the Sales Manager in initiatives such as catchment area mapping, gathering client feedback, and identifying and converting potential business opportunities. The role also requires proactively driving client acquisition, strengthening existing customer relationships, and maximizing the long-term value of each client relationship to contribute to the achievement of broader organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
- Acquire new corporate salary account customers within the specified target segment and cultivate referrals from the designated catchment area.
- Guarantee the acquisition of high-quality corporate salary accounts, focusing on diverse organizational structures, segments, and product alignment.
- Complete the registration, activation, and funding of newly acquired accounts within three months of account opening.
- Engage customers by promoting multiple banking products at the time of account opening, including mobile banking registration, net banking registration, recurring deposit activation, and fixed deposit activation.
- Consistently meet and surpass monthly targets for new customer acquisition by thoroughly analyzing the transaction banking requirements of each client.
- Actively assist and support the Sales Manager in catchment area mapping and scoping activities.
- Provide timely and relevant feedback to the Sales Manager regarding potential opportunities and evolving customer needs.
- Maintain strict adherence to established selling protocols, account opening procedures, and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with both internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Guarantee quality sourcing of new accounts in accordance with the bank’s established policies.
- Develop a target list of prospective clients through strategic promotional initiatives.
- Generate leads for family accounts and other cross-selling opportunities.
- Proactively address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- A minimum of zero to two years of relevant experience in a related field.
