With a focus on Kubernetes in particular, the ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience with Terraform or Pulumi, Jenkins, and Kubernetes. It is imperative to have prior experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. This position is essential to the smooth deployment and integration of our apps as well as the upkeep of our infrastructure's health and scalability.
- We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that is extremely talented and driven, with a focus on infrastructure automation. The ideal applicant will be well-versed with Terraform or Pulumi, Jenkins, and Kubernetes, with a focus on the latter two. Prior knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS and GCP is necessary. This position is essential to maintaining the stability and scalability of our infrastructure while guaranteeing the smooth deployment and integration of our apps.
- Jenkins is used to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Set up, maintain, and expand Kubernetes clusters to accommodate application demands.
- To automate cloud resource provisioning, use infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Assure production systems' high availability, scalability, and dependability.
- Track and resolve security incidents, application problems, and system performance.
- Work together with development teams to make sure that application deployments are dependable and seamless.
- Utilise AWS and GCP to implement and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Provide and keep up-to-date documentation on the procedures, processes, and architecture of the system.
Education Qualifications
- a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- three or more years of experience in a related or DevOps capacity.
- AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes certifications are advantageous.
Skills
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on infrastructure automation.
- Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline building and management.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing requirements.
