Job Description

This Analyst role at Société Générale requires strong client management skills, including proactive anticipation of client needs, swift resolution of issues, and building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various functional units. The position demands operational excellence, encompassing adherence to established benchmarks and service level agreements (SLAs), proactive error and incident escalation, and the identification and implementation of process improvements. Responsibilities include monitoring team activities to maintain quality control and compliance, validating deals, facilities, and outstanding balances within Loan IQ, reviewing credit agreements for accuracy, and handling loan servicing activities (new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay-downs, commitment reductions, and transfers). The role also involves daily transfer and reconciliation of loan proceeds, validating interest and fee billing for direct and agented loans, processing breakage fees, managing SWIFT payments, reconciling positions and discrepancies, preparing manual general ledger entries, and reviewing system reports to monitor facilities, investigate past-due items, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will also perform permanent supervisory controls, identify areas for process improvement, manage key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure complete and appropriate process documentation with stakeholder sign-off, and guide the team on complex production issues. Risk management responsibilities include identifying and remediating operational risks and control gaps, promptly closing audit and inspection findings, and keeping the team informed of and addressing risk gaps. Maintaining process resilience and appropriate backups is also crucial.

Knowledge of or experience in target markets is highly desirable.
