Job Description
The Customer Service Representative will provide first and second-line support for customer inquiries received via phone, email, chat, and social media. This includes responding to inquiries from external key customers, internal customers, and other consumers, adhering to established service level agreements. The role prioritizes providing accurate, timely, and highly satisfactory responses to all customer inquiries. The representative will handle a range of customer interactions, ensuring efficient and effective communication across all channels.

Responsibilities
- This position requires the execution of daily customer service tasks, ensuring that service delivery meets customer expectations and aligns with established performance indicators, service level agreements, and core customer service values.
- The representative will leverage in-depth knowledge of key account customers, processes, and systems to act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries (verbal and written) from external customers (including retail fueling sites, branded and unbranded customers, commercial and strategic accounts, and terminals), internal BP business units, and third-party partners.
- Maintaining professional, friendly, and efficient interactions with customers while promptly escalating concerns regarding service levels or deadlines is crucial.
- Key responsibilities also include: proactively resolving key account customer issues (collaborating with other teams as needed); taking ownership and resolving complex telephone and written customer issues; driving progress on tasks not completed by assigned individuals; and providing comprehensive customer service support via various channels (internet, phone, fax, and email).
- Support activities encompass a wide range of tasks, including: account setup, allocation and delivery issue resolution; order processing and fulfillment; sales order tracking; monitoring supply outages and responding to their impact on orders; disseminating information, policies, and product fulfillment details related to retail marketing programs; addressing retail site experience complaints, fuel quality claims, and site locator requests; and finally, handling complaint resolution, identifying root causes, and implementing effective complaint management strategies.
