Job Description

Atom8 Robotic Labs is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual for a Software Development Internship. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and innovative robotics company. You will be working alongside experienced professionals and contributing directly to the development of our cutting-edge mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• * Design, develop, and maintain robust and user-friendly mobile applications utilizing React Native framework.
• * Seamlessly integrate backend services leveraging Node.js to ensure efficient data flow and application functionality.
• * Develop comprehensive automated end-to-end tests for React Native applications to guarantee high quality and reliability.
• * Actively contribute to the design and implementation of new features for both Android and iOS platforms, enhancing the overall user experience.
• * Assist in documenting development processes, workflows, and technical specifications to maintain clarity and consistency within the team.
• * Participate in the construction and maintenance of scalable and reliable backend systems utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). This involves working with various AWS services to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Education Qualification

• Open to applications from all candidates regardless of educational background; however, a strong technical foundation and demonstrable skills are highly valued.

Skills

• * Currently enrolled in or having recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
• * Demonstrated experience in mobile application development using React Native is essential. This includes experience with the complete development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• * A solid understanding of Android and iOS development practices, including platform-specific considerations and best practices.
• * Proven proficiency in Node.js for backend development, encompassing database interaction, API design, and server-side logic.
• * A thorough understanding of RESTful APIs and web services, including their design, implementation, and consumption.
• * Basic familiarity with version control systems such as Git, including branching strategies, merging, and conflict resolution.
