Job Description

We are actively seeking highly motivated Technical Project Managers to contribute significantly to Mercor’s expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of complex projects throughout the entire lifecycle of our client engagements. A significant portion of our clientele utilizes the Mercor platform to identify subject matter experts who develop datasets essential for training and evaluating advanced AI models.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and meticulous management of recruitment pipelines designed to efficiently source domain experts for diverse AI model training projects commissioned by leading companies in the field of foundational AI.
• Directly oversee the implementation of comprehensive end-to-end assessment strategies, ensuring the consistent selection of top-tier talent that precisely aligns with specific client requirements, utilizing the Mercor platform alongside other carefully selected external resources as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and the broader Operations department to execute high-impact initiatives, specifically focusing on data pipeline design and detailed analysis to guarantee the punctual delivery of superior-quality deliverables that consistently exceed client expectations.
• Work in partnership with Engagement Managers to meticulously oversee all phases of projects, including establishing essential project infrastructure, diligently monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and achieving successful project completion within established timelines.
• Contribute actively to cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships by effectively translating their detailed requirements into actionable implementation plans and proactively driving the execution of core project tasks.
• Onboard and directly interact with specialized domain experts on bespoke tasks critical to the achievement of project objectives, ensuring complete alignment with both client expectations and overarching project goals.
• Continuously evaluate and proactively refine our existing operational processes, implementing innovative automation solutions and efficiency enhancements to streamline workflows and substantially increase overall productivity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in research, consulting, data science, or business.
• A background in a technical discipline such as data science or computer science is highly desirable; alternatively, a demonstrated aptitude for rapidly acquiring technical proficiency will also be considered favorably.
• Proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with project management software applications.
• Experience in managing client interactions and overseeing recruitment processes is considered a valuable asset.
