Job Description
The IND Analyst I Wealth – PA – Technology role focuses on the configuration and testing of Aon’s proprietary Pension Administration System. This ensures the system effectively addresses our clients’ specific requirements. The configuration process involves utilizing specialized, in-house systems and tools to establish and configure/load tables and parameters within the system, strictly following detailed analyses and mapping specifications.
Testing responsibilities include preparing comprehensive test cases and relevant test data, and rigorously executing test activities as directed by the Senior Analyst. This position serves as an entry point for candidates possessing robust skills in programming logic, systems configuration, and testing, particularly as they relate to systems supporting human resource functions.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong logical reasoning and analytical capabilities.
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of the Pension Tool’s database structure to facilitate reporting, data loading, and data updating processes.
- Reviews client specifications presented in requirement documents or task descriptions, ensuring adherence to deadlines and supporting the prioritization of client deliverables.
- Proactively seeks clarification on stated requirements and makes effective use of handoff periods.
- Configures the system to meet analysis specifications of low complexity.
- Provides support for VBA Excel/Access-based tools, including contributions to innovative tool development, and undertakes basic SQL and advanced Excel-related tasks.
- Maintains knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
- Engages in self-directed learning and exploration of new technologies to enhance system efficiency through participation in innovation initiatives.
- Escalates issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Initiates the development of skills necessary for advancement to the next role.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is required.
