Responsibilities

• Investigate outstanding insurance claim balances to pinpoint and resolve discrepancies hindering payment finalization. This includes collaboration with payers, patients, and clients as needed.
• Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement, proposing solutions to minimize first-pass claim denials and reduce the aging of accounts receivable.
• Function as an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a comprehensive understanding of the entire accounting and claims lifecycle.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all workflow tasks, adhering to established quality standards and turnaround times.
• Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denial reasons at the claim level, identifying trends impacting payment amounts and volumes to facilitate process improvements.
• Complete other assigned tasks as required.
• Adhere to all employment contract terms, company policies and procedures, and directives, including but not limited to potential transfers or reassignments to different locations, team changes, shift changes, flexible work arrangements, and other adjustments necessitated by evolving business needs. The company retains the right to modify, alter, or revoke these policies and directives at its sole discretion without limitation.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree (excluding Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology degrees).

Skills

• Bachelor's degree (excluding BE/B.Tech).
• Excellent American English communication skills with a neutral accent.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience with privacy laws, access, and release of information.
• Comprehensive understanding of the applications used in relevant workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strong judgment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent keyboarding and typing skills with proven accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong work ethic, high professionalism, and commitment to client/patient satisfaction.
