Result Overview
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the much-anticipated SSC GD Result 2025 on June 17, 2025. This release includes the category-wise cut-off marks and details on the number of candidates who have qualified for the next stage. Candidates who appeared for the Computer Based Test (CBT) can now check if they are shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

A total of 391,599 candidates have been provisionally selected for the GD posts based on the Computer Based Exam. This includes 351,552 male and 40,047 female candidates. Note that results for 150 debarred candidates were not processed, and 93 results have been withheld.

Next Steps: Physical & Medical Tests
Candidates who cleared the SSC GD Computer-Based Examination 2025 will receive admit cards for the SSC GD Physical Test. This stage consists of the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Successfully completing these is essential to qualify for the medical examination, the final selection hurdle for the 53,690 Constable vacancies.
1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Males (excluding Ladakh Region): 5 km race in 24 minutes
- Females (excluding Ladakh Region): 1.6 km race in 8.5 minutes
- Males (Ladakh Region): 1.6 km in 7 minutes
- Females (Ladakh Region): 800 metres in 5 minutes
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
This includes height, chest (for males), and weight measurements. Specific requirements are:
Height Requirements (Male):
- General, SC, OBC: 170 cm
- ST: 162.5 cm
- Others (detailed in original): Varies (e.g., 165 cm for Garhwalis, Kumaonis, etc.)
Height Requirements (Female):
- General, SC, OBC: 157 cm
- ST: 150 cm

Chest Measurement (Male only):
- General, SC, OBC: 80 cm (unexpanded), 5 cm expansion

3. Medical Examination (DME/RME)
- Candidates who pass PET/PST will proceed to a Detailed Medical Examination.
4. Document Verification (DV)
- The final stage before provisional selection.
