- Applicants must have passed the 10th class examination (or equivalent under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
- Possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade from NCVT/SCVT, or a Provisional Certificate from NCVT/SCVT.
