    • Must have passed Telangana Government Technical Examination in English Typewriting by Higher Grade (45 words per minute) or equivalent.
    • Must have passed Telangana Government Technical Examination in English Shorthand by Higher Grade (120 words per minute) or equivalent. (Lower Grade considered if Higher Grade candidates are unavailable).
    • Must have knowledge or qualification in computer operation.
    • Must possess adequate knowledge of the language(s) of the District of appointment.
    • Must be a citizen of India.
    • Must be of sound health, active habits, and free from bodily defects or infirmities.
    • Character and antecedents must be suitable for service.
    • Must not have more than one spouse living or be married to someone with a spouse living.
    • Must not have been dismissed from government service or convicted for offenses involving moral turpitude.
