About the Company

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH. The Council’s activities are executed through a network comprising 30 institutes located throughout India. The central administrative office, or Headquarters, of the Council is located in Delhi.

Job Description

Applications are being accepted for multiple positions across Group “A,” “B,” and “C” classifications. Detailed information is outlined below:

Qualifications

• **Research Officer (Pathology) Group “A”:**
• a) MD in Pathology from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized University/Institution.
• b) Registration with the Central Register of the MCI or a State Medical Council.
• **Research Officer (Ayurveda)- Group “A”:**
• a) Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS) in Ayurveda from a University/Institution recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
• b) Registration on the Central Register of CCIM or a State Register of Ayurveda/ISM.
• **Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology) Group “B”:**
• a) M. Pharm (Pharmacology), M. Pharm (Ay)/M.Sc. (Medicinal Plant) with specialization in pharmacology from a recognized University/Institution
• b) One year experience after PG degree.
• **Staff Nurse Group “B”:**
• a) B.Sc. Nursing; Or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery recognized by the Nursing Council of India with two years of experience in a teaching/research hospital.
• b) Registration with a State Nursing Council.
• **Assistant Group “B”:**
• 1. A Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
• 2. Proficiency in Computers.
• **Translator (Hindi Assistant) Group “B”:**
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree from a recognized university in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as compulsory or elective subject at the degree level; **AND** Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
• **Medical Laboratory Technologist Group “B”:**
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 years of relevant experience.
• **Research Assistant (Chemistry) Group “C”:**
• a) Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry, M Pharm (Ay Quality Control)/M Sc (Medicinal Plant) with specialization in pharmaceutical analysis from a recognized University/Institution.
• **Research Assistant (Botany) Group “C”:**
• Postgraduate Degree in Botany/M Sc (Medicinal Plants) from a recognized University/Institution.
• **Research Assistant (Pharmacology) Group “C”:**
• a)M Pharm (Pharmacology), M Pharm (Ay)/M Sc (Medicinal Plant) with specialization in pharmacology from a recognized University/Institution
• **Research Assistant (Organic Chemistry) Group “C”:**
• a) Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution.
• **Research Assistant (Garden) Group “C”:**
• a) Postgraduate Degree in Botany/Medicinal Plants (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized University/Institution.
• **Research Assistant (Pharmacy) Group “C”:**
• M Pharm. (Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Science/Quality Assurance/Ayurveda) from a recognized University/Institution
• **Stenographer Grade–I Group “C”:**
• 1) Matriculation or equivalent
• 2) Ability to write 120 W.P.M in shorthand and 40 W.P.M. in typewriting.
• 3) Approximately 3 years of experience as Stenographer (Jr) in a Govt/Semi Govt/Public undertaking or a firm of repute.
• **Statistical Assistant Group ‘C’:**
• Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics with Statistics as one of the subjects, or a graduate from a recognized University with Statistics or Mathematics as a subject, with three years of experience in handling statistical data.
• **Upper Division Clerk (Group “C”)**
• Degree of a recognized University.
• **Stenographer Grade-II Group “C”**
• 1) Matriculation or equivalent
• 2) Ability to write shorthand at 100 W.P.M and typewriting at 40 W.P.M.
• **Lower Division Clerk Group ‘C’**
• (a) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
• (b) Skill Test Norms on Computer: English Typing: @ 35 w.p.m Hindi Typing: @30 w.p.m. (Time allowed 10 Minutes) (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour/ 9000 Key Depressions per hour on an average of 5 Key Depressions for each word).
• **Pharmacist (Grade-I), Group ‘C’**
• Diploma in Pharmacy/D. Pharm (Ay.) from a recognized university/institution with two years of experience in a recognized Ayurvedic hospital, or B. Pharm. (Ay.).
• **Offset Machine Operator Group “C”**
• 1) Matriculation or equivalent
• 2) Certificate from a recognized institution for operation and maintenance of offset printing machines
• 3) 3 years of experience in operating offset printing machines in a reputed organization
• 4) Basic knowledge of the machine and its maintenance
• **Library Clerk Group “C”**
• a) 10+2 Science subjects with a certificate in Library Science from a recognized Institute.
• b) Work experience of 1 year in a recognized Institution/Hospital/Laboratory.
• **Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist Group “C”**
• 10+2 with a Science subject and DMLT from any Government recognized Institution with one year of relevant experience.
• **Laboratory Attendant Group “C”**
• a) 10+2 in Science subjects
• b) Work experience of 1 year in a recognized Institution/Hospital/Laboratory.
• **Security In-charge Group “C”**
• 1) Degree from a recognized University.
• 2) At least 3 years of experience in caretaking, watch and ward duties in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Undertaking or Institution of repute.
• **Driver Ordinary Grade Group “C”**
• 1) Matriculation or equivalent
• 2) Valid driving license for light & heavy vehicles
• 3) Approximately 2 years of experience in the line.
• **Multi-Tasking Staff Group “C”**
• For Disciplines of MTS Posts mentioned at ser No 26 sub Para (a) to (i) Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass Certificate from a recognized Institute in the respective discipline of MTS as mentioned from sub para (a) to (i) of Item 26.
