Cisco Intersight is a comprehensive management platform, accessible via cloud and on-premise deployments, designed for Cisco UCS and other data center products. It leverages analytics and machine learning to provide intelligent, actionable insights for IT operations, simplifying and automating environments. The Intersight Virtual Appliance is the on-premises solution delivering these capabilities. Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend development for Intersight (SaaS and On-premise Appliance-based) Management Software, encompassing scoping, planning, designing, implementation, testing, and inter-team coordination.
• Influence feature development, aiming to enhance product quality and customer experience.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices for platform scaling and emerging technologies.
• Participate in Agile team environments utilizing continuous development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience, with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, C++, Java, or Python, coupled with strong object-oriented design skills.
• Solid foundation in Distributed Computing, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Good comprehension of Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and fundamental networking concepts.
• Familiarity with development tools including Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
