Responsibilities
- Comprehend business requirements, solicit necessary clarifications, and create comprehensive documentation.
- Develop, maintain, test, debug, and deploy code in accordance with specified requirements.
- Understand data prerequisites and formulate appropriate test scenarios.
- Demonstrate understanding of the Agile application development environment, associated deliverables, and adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Create detailed low-level designs for individual components.
- Identify and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion and proactively address potential issues and failure points.
- Assume responsibility for the timely and efficient delivery of assigned goals.
- Actively participate in project team meetings and technical sessions to contribute to the development of reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
- Engage in continuous upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling activities to adapt to emerging technologies.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be graduating in 2025 with a B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech degree. (Specific streams such as Leather Technology, Food Technology, and Fashion Technology are not eligible.)
- Candidates must possess a consistent academic record, maintaining a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate studies. (Rounding off 59.9% is not permitted.)
- Upon joining, recruits must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in their pursuing degree program, with no outstanding arrears (backlogs).
- CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered according to the respective university’s norms.
- Students with any existing arrears (backlogs) are not eligible to apply.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location, in any shift timing, and with any technology, is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) currently residing in India.
