Job Description

Recruitment for 71 posts of 22 cadres in Andhra Medical College, King George Hospital, College of Nursing, Visakhapatnam by District Selection Committee. Posts are offered on both a contract and outsourcing basis. Merit list will remain valid for one year from the notification’s issuance date.

Qualifications

• Radiation Safety Officer:
• Post Graduate Degree in Physics from a recognized university
• Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university.
• An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department.
• An approval from the competent authority function as Radiological Safety Officer.
• OR
• A Basic Degree in Science from a recognized university, with physics as one of the main subjects
• Post Graduation Degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university.
• An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department and with experience working with Linac Machine will be given Priority.
• An approval from the competent authority function as Radiological Safety Officer.
• Medical Physicist:
• Post Graduate Degree in Physics from a recognized university
• Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university.
• An internship of minimum 12 months in a recognized well-equipped radiation therapy department.

• OR

• Radiotherapy Technician:
• Must have passed intermediate examination or its equivalent from recognized by Govt.
• Must possess Diploma in Radio Therapy Technician with 2 Yrs Experience or B.Sc (RadioTherapy) from a recognized institution in India.
• Must be registered in APPMB.
• Mould Room Technician:
• Candidates should have completed a 10+2 level of education in physics – chemistry – mathematics or physics – chemistry – biology with an aggregate of 50 per cent of marks or equivalent to it from a recognized board and 1 Year Experience in relevant field.
• Anaesthesia Technician:
• Must possess Diploma in Anesthesia technology course from a Govt Recognized Institution with 2 Yrs Experience or B.Sc Anesthesia technology in and should be registered in AP Paramedical Board and valid as on the date of notification.
• Junior Assistant cum Computer Assistant:
• Must have any Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university
• Must have passed P.G diploma in computer applications (PGDCA)
• Receptionist:
• Must have any Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university
• Must have passed P.G diploma in computer applications (PGDCA)
• General Duty Attendant:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognized school
• Office Subordinates:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognized school
• Typist/DEO/Computer Operator:
• Must have any Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university
• Must have passed P.G diploma in computer applications (PGDCA)
• Wardens (Females):
• Must have any Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university
• Must have 2 Yrs Experience in House Keeping.
• Must have above 35 Yrs Age
• Library Attendant:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognized school
• Class Room Attendant:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognized school
• Prosthetic & Ortho Technician:
• Must Possess Intermediate with Prosthetic and Ortho Technician Course from any recognized institution with council registration
• Cooks:
• Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board
• Ambulance Drivers:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognized school
• Must Have HGV/HTV Driving License
• Must Have the First Aid Certificate from recognized institution
• Hostel Attendant (Female):
• Must have Passed SSC from recognized Board.
• C-Arm Technician:
• Must Have Two years Diploma in Cath Lab Technician Course(DCLT) from any Government recognized Medical Board with minimum 1 years’ experience in the relevant field.
• Must be registered in APPMB
• EEG Technician:
• Must Possess Intermediate or its equivalent
• Must Possess B.Sc in Clinical Neuro Physiology/EEG Technology from recognized institution in India and must registered in AP Para Medical Board.
• Must Possess PG Diploma in Neuro Technology with 2 Years of Experience in any Govt/Private Organization.
• Speech Therapist:
• Must possess a Bachelor degree from a recognized University
• Diploma in Speech Therapy or Certificate in speech Therapy in any recognized university.
• Must have registered in Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with up-to-date renewals
• OT Technician:
• Must Possess Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management & Operation Theater Technician
• Must be registered in APPMB
• OT Assistant:
• Must have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognized school with First Aid Certificate
• Must have put in a minimum service of 3 years as Nursing Orderly in a any Govt/Private hospital
