Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
    • Successful completion of the 12th class or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
    • Typing proficiency of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.)
    • Junior Hydrographic Surveyor (JHS):
    • A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
    • OR
    • A diploma in Civil Engineering combined with three years of experience in hydrographic or land surveying.
    • OR
    • Successful completion of SR I/II of the Indian Navy with seven years of experience in hydrography and navigation.
    • Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Programming
    • Senior Accounts Officer:
    • A degree from a recognized University complemented by a professional qualification, such as passing the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the final examination of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants, or the SAS Commercial examination of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department.
    • Three years of supervisory experience in commercial accounts within the Finance or Accounts Department of a Central/State Government, semi-government organization, or a reputable commercial organization.
    • Desirable: Degree/Diploma in Business Management
