Job Description
Applications are being accepted for the recruitment of accomplished sportspersons across all 65 sports disciplines as notified by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T). These positions include Tax Assistant, Havaldar, and MTS within the Office of the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Kolkata. Qualifications
- Tax Assistant: Educational Qualification: i) A degree from a recognized University or equivalent is required. ii) Candidates must demonstrate a data entry speed of at least 8000 key depressions per hour. Note: The data entry speed will be assessed through a speed test conducted on a computer.
- Havaldar: Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board. Note: Candidates must meet the following physical standards and pass the prescribed physical test: 1. Physical Standards (Minimum): For Male Candidates: Height: 157.5 cms (relaxable by 5 cms for Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Scheduled Tribes). Chest: 81 cms (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 05 cms). For Female Candidates: Height: 152 cms Weight: 48 Kgs (Height relaxable by 2.5 cms and weight by 2 Kgs for Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of the Scheduled Tribes). 2. Physical Test: For Male Candidates: Walking: 1600 meters in 15 minutes. For Female Candidates: Walking: 1 Km in 20 minutes.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.
