About the Company
The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is a space research center under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India. Responsibilities
- Design, testing, integration, measurement, analysis, maintenance, screening, and calibration of electronic systems (Electronics Technical Assistant)
- Co-ordination and monitoring of manufacturing / fabrication, production planning activities, integration & testing of hardware, mechanical quality control (Mechanical Technical Assistant)
- Computer programming & Computer Network operations (Computer Science Technical Assistant)
- Chemical processing including hazardous propellant preparation process, production planning, inspection, and quality control (Chemical Technical Assistant)
- Supervision of all kinds of maintenance activities of automobiles (Automobile Technical Assistant)
- Supervision of all kinds of construction and maintenance activities of civil projects / structures (Civil Technical Assistant)
- Supervision of all kinds of installation and maintenance activities of refrigeration & AC systems (Refrigeration & AC Technical Assistant)
- Supporting various Research and Development activities in the areas of Atmospheric / Space / Planetary Science, mainly focusing on experimental development, operation, observations and analysis and data collection from various places across the Country (Physics Scientific Assistant)
- Processing and analysis of speciality chemicals and materials for space applications (Chemistry Scientific Assistant)
- Managing circulation, acquisition, cataloguing, information service, document arrangement, collection management, user orientation & communication with users (Library Assistant-A)
