Responsibilities

  • As an Employee Services Specialist within the Global Business Services (GBS) People & Culture (P&C) team at Warner Bros. Discovery, you will be the primary point of contact for employees, alumni, managers, and business partners. You will deliver efficient and informative service, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. This involves leveraging multiple systems and resources (including Workday and ServiceNow) to answer inquiries, guide employees through self-service HR tools, and effectively route or escalate complex issues. You will manage cases using the company's case management system, meticulously tracking, documenting, and resolving transactions according to established service level agreements. You will also gather necessary information and supporting documentation from employees and external stakeholders, skillfully asking clarifying questions to ensure accurate problem identification and resolution. Furthermore, this role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback, suggesting innovative solutions, and enhancing productivity. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, and resources is crucial to this position.

Education Qualification

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Human Resources administration or a related field is required. Experience in a global HR service center environment is preferred. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly is essential.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Shift Requirements: The ability to work a flexible 8-hour shift between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM India Standard Time, Monday through Friday, is required. Flexibility to accommodate changing business needs is essential.

Skills

  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Workday HR/payroll systems, ServiceNow (or similar case management/knowledge base tools) is preferred. Proficiency in learning new technologies and software is essential. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also preferred.
  • Relationship Management: Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills are crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Process Management: A strong aptitude for process improvement and problem-solving is required. The ability to effectively manage high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional planning, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills are necessary. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are also key requirements.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and customer service skills are critical. The ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences in English, with minimal grammatical and mathematical errors, is essential. Adaptability and a flexible attitude are necessary to thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.
