Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2025-26 (Level 1 & 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC) in Northern Railway. Online applications are being accepted from eligible Indian citizens for positions at Level 1 and Level 2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix within the Northern Railway, under the Scouts and Guides Quota for the recruitment year 2025-2026.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Category 1 (Level 2):
- Educational Qualification: Successful completion of 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. (Waived for SC/ST/Ex-SM and those holding higher qualifications)
- For Technical Posts- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT /SCVT (OR) Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship
- Scouting Qualification: A President’s Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
- Active membership in a Scouts organization for the past 5 years, evidenced by a Certificate of Activeness as per Annexure-I.
- Participation in at least two National or All Indian Railway’s level events and two State-level events.
- Category 2 (Level 1):
- Educational Qualification (Other Departments): 10th passed + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass + ITI
- 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
- Scouting Qualification: A President’s Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
- Active membership in a Scouts organization for the past 5 years, evidenced by a Certificate of Activeness as per Annexure-I.
- Participation in at least two National or All Indian Railway’s level events and two State-level events.
