Job Description
Toddle is seeking a passionate and driven Product Engineer to contribute to the creation of intuitive, scalable, and engaging user experiences for teachers, students, and parents. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality product features. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, product managers, designers, and educators, gaining valuable exposure to real-world applications within educational institutions. This position offers robust mentorship, significant hands-on project ownership, and continuous professional development opportunities within a rapidly expanding SaaS environment. Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing, developing, and deploying high-quality product features.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and educators.
- Gain exposure to real-world usage in schools.
- Understand the codebase, architecture, and core product workflows.
- Build strong fundamentals in React, state management, CSS, and gain a basic understanding of Apollo.
- Start contributing to feature development and production fixes with mentor support.
- Independently deliver major features by writing clean, modular, and optimized code.
- Become comfortable with Chrome DevTools and profiling tools like react profile, memory profiling, and performance tools.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Own modules end-to-end, coordinating closely with Product and Support teams through scoping, design review, development, release, and post-release support.
- Work on performance and frontend infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to onboarding, technical knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech degree
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Having a bias towards action, a good sense of design, empathy, and good communication skills.
