Responsibilities
- Use big data tools and technologies, such as MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and others, to design and develop solutions.
- extensive practical knowledge of object-oriented programming with Python, PySpark, and other tools.
- expertise in creating data pipelines for massive data sets.
- knowledge of creating, putting into practice, and overseeing different ETL job execution pipelines.
- expertise in setting up and managing the data intake process.
- practical experience utilizing HQL, SQL, and Spark to write simple to advanced efficient queries.
- practical experience using the most effective tools and technologies to develop, implement, and maintain data transformation projects.
- Assure the effectiveness, caliber, and promptness of the remedies.
- To keep code quality high, take part in code reviews.
- The ability to write shell scripts should be present.
- For source version management, use Git.
- Create and manage pipelines for CI/CD.
- Diagnose, fix, and improve current ETL and application task chains.
Education Qualifications
- Computer science engineering bachelor's degree, or a similar discipline.
- An undergraduate degree in computer science engineering or a similar discipline.
Skills
- demonstrated expertise as a data engineer or in a related position.
- strong ability to use Python for object-oriented programming.
- familiarity with the design principles of ETL jobs.
- strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and HQL.
- familiarity with shell scripting concepts and Unix/Linux.
- knowledge of version control systems and Git.
- familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
- familiarity with design patterns and best practices for software development.
- Outstanding attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
