Responsibilities
- Maintain and support existing data and analytics products, including code and configuration management.
- Develop, test, and deploy code based on established designs, adhering to standard methodologies for code structure and efficiency, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Produce comprehensive code documentation for both new and existing features to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and future reference.
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to comprehend project specifications and translate them into viable technical designs.
- Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback regarding adherence to standard methodologies and ensuring high code quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to the creation of unit and integration tests to validate new features and functionalities. Provide support for troubleshooting and debugging existing systems to address defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Execute application support and administration tasks, including periodic reviews, incident response and resolution management, and security assessments.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and standard methodologies, with a focus on expanding expertise in cloud services, automation, and secure software development practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with 0 to 4 years of experience in software engineering.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, encompassing a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, database systems, and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Proficiency in triaging and resolving incidents, escalating issues when necessary, and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Solid foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Experience with database technologies, data modeling techniques, and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
- Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into system capabilities.
- Comfortable interacting with global partners, effectively communicating both technical and non-technical information.
