Engagement of Trade Apprentices for the Year 2025-26 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship training program will be for a duration of one year from the date of joining, as stipulated by the Apprentices Act of 1961.

Qualifications
- Age Limit: Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 27 years of age as of August 1, 2025. This age limit is applicable to General category candidates. Age relaxations are provided as per government guidelines: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. Physically Challenged persons (with a minimum of 40% disability) are eligible for a 10-year relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidates must have successfully passed High School and possess an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) pass certificate obtained through a regular, full-time program from an NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training)/SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) recognized institution. An NCVT/SCVT certificate is mandatory for all trades listed in Table No. 1, with the exception of the Welder trade, for which only an NCVT certificate will be considered. Candidates who have successfully completed their full-time ITI course are eligible to apply for this apprenticeship training program. Candidates who have obtained their ITI certification through Distance Learning, Part-Time, Correspondence, or Sandwich courses are not eligible for apprenticeship training at BHEL.
