Job Description

BrightCHAMPS is actively seeking dynamic and qualified Coding Tutors to impart programming and computer science fundamentals to students aged 6 to 16 years globally. The role involves conducting engaging online classes, ensuring students achieve strong learning outcomes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the educational program. This position requires a commitment to fostering problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity, and coding proficiency in young learners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and interactive online 1:1 or small-group coding classes for children and teenagers (aged 6–16) using Zoom.
• Deliver lessons that adhere to the established curriculum, assessments, projects, and certification requirements.
• Enhance students’ problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, creativity, and overall coding skills to achieve significant learning progress.
• Organize and conduct regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) with a target Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 9 or higher.
• Provide detailed feedback on student performance and progress reports to internal teams after each session.
• Participate in curriculum enhancement initiatives, internal reviews, and educator training programs.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, ensure timely communication, and foster a highly engaging classroom environment.
• Monitor individual student progress and recommend personalized learning paths.

Qualifications

• Completed undergraduate degree in relevant fields such as B.Tech/B.E, BCA, B.Sc CS/IT, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language including Python, Scratch, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, C++, or foundational Robotics concepts.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively in a fun and structured manner.
• Comfort and familiarity with conducting live online classes via platforms like Zoom.
• Strong aptitude for logical reasoning and the capacity to explain complex topics simply.
• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a functional laptop/PC equipped with a webcam and microphone.
• Previous experience in teaching or the EdTech sector is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
