Job Description

This posting advertises potential job opportunities for an Associate Sales Engineer Trainee role, a Technical Graduate Apprentice position in India. The trainee will learn to progress sales deals through various stages, collaborate with Key Account Managers, participate in marketing events, and engage in client-facing activities like presentations and product demonstrations. This role offers hands-on training in Sales Analytics and Sales Process excellence, shadowing senior engineers, and understanding leadership’s role in driving growth and accountability. Trainees will learn to prioritize initiatives using sales systems and methodologies under mentorship, and contribute to segment strategies through cross-functional collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Learn to progress sales deals through Introduction, Discovery, and Custom Demonstration stages with guidance.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers.
• Participate in marketing events and learn about successful event execution and client engagement.
• Engage in client-facing activities such as presentations, proposals, business case development, and product demonstrations.
• Develop foundational knowledge in Sales Analytics and Sales Process excellence.
• Shadow senior sales engineers and participate in hands-on training.
• Observe how leaders inspire teams, drive growth, foster accountability, and prepare sales forecasts.
• Learn to prioritize initiatives by adopting disciplined use of sales systems, tools, processes, and methodologies under mentorship.
• Participate in cross-functional collaborations.
• Contribute to segment strategies and high-impact growth initiatives alongside senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree.
• Must have graduated in 2025 and obtained a degree certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate.
• Must be available for a period of 12 months starting January 2025.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have passion for technology and the desire to learn with proactive engagement in a team.
• Must be enrolled as a ‘student’ on https://nats.education.gov.in/ and possess a valid student enrollment number issued by NATS.
• Bachelor’s degree (4 Years) in any stream with no active backlogs (Preferred).
• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Preferred).
• Good communication skills, passion & desire to learn, ‘Can do’ attitude, proactive engagement, solutions seeking & a team player (Preferred).
