Job Description

Cision is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team remotely in India. This role is crucial in generating and managing data that underpins Cision’s reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data that forms a solid foundation for their services. The Data Analyst will be instrumental in the success of all deliverables, supporting the coding and report creation processes throughout all project phases. Responsibilities

• Ensure coding analysis production is consistent, high-quality, and meets strict delivery timelines by tracking performance and enforcing standards.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior coding teams, promoting best practices and delivering constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and skill development.
• Manage content searches and uploading processes, prioritize coding tasks, and perform regular data checks while understanding project coding structures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues by leveraging knowledge of data flow and company tools.
• Report regularly to management, maintaining open communication to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
• Contribute to assigned reports using established templates and tools, generating charts, and writing qualitative insights.
• Take ownership of initial data exports and provide assistance with charting and report production as required.
• Offer daily support to Senior Analysts and Team Leads, including tasks like contact management, data verification, and report production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of prior experience in coding, query writing, and analysis.
• Strong background in professional writing and reporting.
• Proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
• Fluent in English.
