As an Analyst Trainee within the IT & Integrated Smart Operations teams, you will be responsible for performing database queries, executing CRUD operations, and developing stored procedures. Your duties will include preparing and executing test plans, analyzing and resolving service tickets, and demonstrating proficiency in IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools. A strong emphasis will be placed on fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Job Description for Analyst Trainee Aligned to Multicloud:

In the Multicloud team, the Analyst Trainee will be responsible for maintaining and administering computing environments, monitoring production servers, and managing incident resolution. This role includes providing support for Windows, Network, Database, Storage, Messaging, Collaboration, and Cloud environments.

Job Description for Analyst Trainee Aligned to Digital Workplace Services:

As an Analyst Trainee within Digital Workplace Services, you will be responsible for delivering technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues and maintaining the smooth operation of their computer systems and IT services.

Responsibilities

• Defining relationships between tables and constructing queries to extract data from databases.
• Performing CRUD operations and developing stored procedures based on Low-Level Designs.
• Creating test cases, scripts, and data sets, and executing both manual and automated tests.
• Analyzing root causes and implementing fixes for service tickets in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrating expertise in tools associated with IT Service Management and Data Analytics.
• Actively pursuing innovation and experimentation in project-related activities.
• Executing activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs/Runbooks, demonstrating an understanding of business impact.
• Adhering to customer security and compliance mandates.
• Following established customer communication protocols.
• Meeting stated productivity targets for the engagement.
• Contributing to continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives.
• Actively participating in knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Serving as a mentor for new hires.
• Adhering to organizational policies and processes, including Cognizant’s security policies, learning programs, and timelines.
• Providing first-line technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues and inquiries. Logging and tracking all support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of problems.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems, performing diagnosis and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. Collaborating with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure prompt resolution. Maintaining knowledge base articles and documentation to enhance self-service options and facilitate efficient problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be graduates from the 2024 or 2025 class with a three-year undergraduate degree in BCA, BSc (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, or Electronics. A minimum academic score of 60% is required, with no rounding permitted (e.g., 59.9% will not be considered).
• A consistent academic record with a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, and UG is required. Rounding of percentages is not allowed.
• At the time of joining, all recruits must have a minimum 60% aggregate in their 3-year UG degree with no arrears.
• CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered based on university guidelines.
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work from any Cognizant office location, during any shift timing, and on any technology as required.
• This opportunity is open to Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) currently residing in India.
• Candidates must be graduates from the 2024 or 2025 class with any three-year undergraduate degree (e.g., BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, BCom, BVoc, BMS, etc.) and a minimum academic score of 50%. Rounding of percentages is not allowed.
• Candidates with standing arrears are not eligible.
