As a GenC, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Gaining a comprehensive understanding of business requirements, clarifying ambiguities, and producing relevant documentation.
* Developing, maintaining, testing, debugging, and deploying code in accordance with specified requirements.
* Understanding data prerequisites and formulating thorough test scenarios.
* Working within an Agile application development framework, adhering to defined deliverables and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Creating detailed low-level designs for software components.
* Identifying and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines, proactively addressing potential issues and mitigating risks.
* Taking ownership of assigned goals and ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
* Actively participating in project team meetings and technical sessions to contribute to the development of reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
* Engaging in continuous upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling to remain proficient in emerging technologies.
* Demonstrating excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.

Qualifications
- Candidates graduating in 2025 with a B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech degree in a relevant field are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have a consistently strong academic record, with a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate studies. Rounding off percentages (e.g., 59.9%) is not permitted.
- At the time of joining, recruits must maintain a minimum aggregate of 60% in their pursuing degree program, without any outstanding arrears (backlogs).
- CGPA to percentage conversions will be considered based on university guidelines.
- Students with any existing arrears are not eligible to apply.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location, in any shift timing, and on any technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) currently residing in India.
