Job Description

This role is within Deloitte’s USI Leadership Support Centre, part of the Business Support Services organization, supporting the Extended Delivery Centre (EDC) in India which in turn supports the Central Business Services (CBS) in the UK. The position is ideal for individuals seeking to begin a career in Business Support Services, offering comprehensive training and support to develop skills for potential future roles as an Executive Assistant or other positions within Deloitte. Responsibilities

  • Assist UK-based Executive Assistants (EAs) with submitting expense claims.
  • Reconcile American Express statements.
  • Book meeting rooms for Partners.
  • Create travel itineraries for Partners, adhering to Deloitte’s policies and systems.
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc requests and general inquiries from EAs.
  • Manage requests and tickets submitted through the ESS Service Portal (Service Now) following best practices.
  • Maintain quality assurance by filing all deliverables and correspondence in designated Microsoft Teams folders.
  • Understand and comply with the Deloitte UK Travel & Expenses policy.
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Process Maps, and SIPOCs as needed.
  • Act as an out-of-office alternative contact, managing client emails during Senior Directors’ absence.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key client EAs.
  • Establish rapport with key stakeholders, including partners, directors, and staff.
  • Provide cover during periods of holiday and sickness.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks for senior directors and associate partners.
  • Collaborate effectively within diverse and inclusive teams, where contributions are recognized.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate (fresher) or an experienced candidate with less than 11 months of experience in administrative assistant roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, multitask, and manage personal workload effectively under strict deadlines.
  • A proactive and creative problem-solving approach, with the ability to think innovatively.
  • Diligent, conscientious, and possessing a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence.
