Job Description

Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited is seeking a Fresher for the Azure/AWS DevOps Engineer – Analyst role in Hyderabad. This position offers an entry-level opportunity to support cloud and DevOps teams, focusing on learning foundational cloud skills, assisting with basic configuration and support, and adhering to enterprise IT operations best practices. The role provides close guidance and mentorship to help build the incumbent’s skills and confidence in a dynamic cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine setup, configuration, and monitoring of Azure/AWS resources under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support basic user access requests, including creation, modification, and deletion of user access within cloud portals.
• Observe and document troubleshooting procedures for straightforward cloud-related issues such as virtual machine startup failures or resource quota limitations.
• Engage in cloud-based deployment processes and attend team meetings to grasp project objectives and technical prerequisites.
• Contribute to the maintenance of documentation, including installation guides, FAQs, and runbooks for cloud operational procedures.
• Follow established checklists to perform daily health and status checks on basic cloud services, which involves monitoring dashboards, reviewing alerts, and executing simple scripts.
• Learn and apply fundamental DevOps principles, including executing sample CI/CD pipelines, understanding version control basics, and observing automation tasks.
• Actively participate in ongoing training sessions and proactively seek mentorship from experienced professionals.
• Promptly report any identified problems or unusual findings to the relevant team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• 0-1 year of professional experience; internships, college projects, or certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., servers, storage, networking).
• Keen interest in learning public cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and a willingness to explore their respective consoles.
• Enthusiasm for technology, a strong commitment to following instructions, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English to facilitate effective collaboration and documentation.
• A proactive approach to learning and self-improvement.
