The selected candidate will learn and contribute to Eli Lilly’s established software development methodologies and will gain familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and technologies utilized in contemporary software development practices. Effective communication is essential, and the intern must demonstrate a strong motivation to achieve tangible results as a contributing member of the team. The intern will receive mentorship from at least one senior member of the Engineering Team and will collaborate with a diverse group of IT professionals with varying levels of experience. • The candidate should exhibit a strong willingness to learn a wide range of technologies across the IT software spectrum, including but not limited to Cloud engineering, Data analytics, Big data, Information Security (InfoSec), Application Development (Full stack), Application Support, Infrastructure Storage, Website development, Mobile development, Data Engineering, IT Service Management (ITSM), Data Visualization, Design principles, User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) design, Graphic Design, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• The successful applicant will possess strong reasoning skills, meticulous attention to detail, well-developed critical thinking abilities, and robust analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary, including the ability to cultivate professional relationships with a diverse group of individuals and the capacity to collaborate effectively within geographically dispersed teams and with external partners.
