Responsibilities
- Recognize the needs of your business and products, then utilize statistical or machine learning approaches to quickly deliver answers.
- In order to better understand the project and be able to lead it within the DS team, engage in communication and collaboration with the business and product teams.
- Engage in comprehensive solution research through a variety of techniques, and derive statistical insights from models and data that you can share with business and product teams.
- Active involvement in learning new technologies and working with novel approaches in the fields of data engineering and science.
Education Qualifications
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Statistics or Computer Science with three to five years of experience gained through articles, projects, and implemented solutions.
Skills
- profound comprehension of the algorithms they have worked on, both in theory and in practice.
- solid understanding of the theory and application of general machine learning techniques such as Random Forests, SVM, Boosting, Neural Networks, and trees, as well as basic statistical models like clustering and regression. The candidate is not required to have worked on each of these modules in its entirety.
- Strong R or Python skills are required.
