Introduction:
GlobalFoundries is in search of a motivated intern to contribute to the enhancement and development of software and tools used for modeling semiconductor devices. This role requires strong coding skills in Python, with knowledge of Perl and shell scripting being desirable. Additionally, familiarity with semiconductor physics, particularly MOSFET devices, is necessary.
Your Job:
- Enhance existing Perl, shell, and Python scripts.
- Develop new codes as required, adhering to software development best practices.
- Ensure code conformity to specifications and maintain thorough documentation.
- Understand semiconductor device behaviors and simulations.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, possessing strong coding and debugging abilities.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.E / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or related field.
