The Problem Setting team at HackerEarth is responsible for developing original questions for both public and private hackathons, challenges, and our technical assessment product.

Responsibilities
- Develop problems encompassing data structures, algorithms, and mathematical concepts across a range of difficulty levels.
- Create realistic programming questions and rigorously test problems developed by other problem setters.
- Review and evaluate problems created by other problem setters.
- Conduct thorough reviews of HackerEarth’s existing question bank to identify and rectify any technical errors, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Incorporate code stubs (partial code implementations) into the code editor of problems, thereby assisting candidates to focus on writing the core logic required for solving the problem rather than concerning themselves with syntax.
- Address inquiries, suggestions, and issues raised by candidates engaged with problems on the HackerEarth platform.
- Collaborate closely with the technical documentation team to eliminate contextual or grammatical ambiguities from questions.
