- For Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government, or by a University, or by an Institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent.
- For Category III Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: A full-time Regular Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Humanities such as BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BBM, BCA, etc., granted by a Statutory University or Deemed University (UGC approved).
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- Candidates must be hailing from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry.
